"Vexen's Shield"
Here's a 3D model I made of the Chilly Academic's pointy weapon. It took a while to get those stupid, uh, I mean, those lovely bevels on the sides. I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out. Ha, that set at the bottom is supposed to be some room in Castle Oblivion... The floors were just waxed.  The model is sort of a pre-visualization for the actual shield I'm going to be constructing to use for cosplay. It's very helpful to build a virtual model first so I know how to make the thing for real, heh. I'll throw that into pepakura designer and come up with a pattern. Hopefully the cardboard version will look as nice as this...  Shield modeled and rendered in 3DS Max 9 Textures in Photoshop 7 Long live 3D! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure.
